Atlanta Aromatherapy Certification

Aromatherapy is the art and science of using pure essential oils extracted from plants and flowers to restore and enhance beauty and health in a therapeutic manner. Our Atlanta aromatherapy certification courses teach students how to combine essential oils and make custom blends uniquely designed for each client. It is a holistic medicine used in both active and preventative treatments. It is non-invasive by nature and designed to benefit the whole person not just the symptom and to stimulate the body's natural ability to heal itself.

Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics introduces aromatherapy concepts in 3 phases. The first phase introduces students to the origin, purity and cultivation of aromatherapy oils. The second phase introduces students to the Latin name for the oils, familiarizes them with the smell of a variety of essential oils and teaches them how to interview and assess clients. In the final phase students learn about blends for the various skin types, methods of application, appropriate use of pressure points during treatments and how to customize unique blends for individual clients.
