In accordance with the Certification and Agreement for institutions applying for HEERF funds and to comply with the American Rescue Plan (a)(4) Act, 2021 (ARP), Atlanta School of Massage’s fund report (the “Quarterly Report”) is posting on December 31, 2021 the information listed below on the institution’s primary website – This Fund Report applies to the student portion received under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III) for emergency financial aid grants to students.

1. The Institution signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used the applicable amount of funds designated under the ARP (a)(4) program to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students for HEERF III.

2. The total amount of funds that the institution will receive or has received from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants HEERF III to students under the ARP (a)(4) program is $144,965.

3. The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants HEERF III distributed to students under the ARP (a)(4) program as of the date of submission is $144,965 in Q1 2022.

4. The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants HEERF III distributed to students under the ARP (a)(4) program is 303

5. The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant HEERF III to students under the ARP (a)(4) program is 253 in Q1 2022.

6. To be eligible to receive HEERF III grants, students must have met the following criteria:

    1. Have incurred expenses for any component of your cost of attendance, such as tuition, food, housing, health care, including mental health care) ore childcare, or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus; AND
    2. Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and can demonstrate exceptional need; or have filed a 2020-2021 or 2021-2022 FAFSA resulting in a valid EFC (Expected Family Contribution), that is clear of any issues identified on the FAFSA regarding citizenship or residency (if you are currently receiving Federal financial aid, including Pell grants or Loans, you have met this requirement) AND
    3. Be actively enrolled or on an approved leave of absence on or after 01/24/2022 and, at the time of the grant distribution, be actively enrolled, on an approved leave of absence or graduated/completed since 01/24/2022; AND
    4. Complete and electronically submit the CRRSAA/ARP Financial Aid Grant Student Attestation Form.

Consistent with CRRSAA/ARP, Atlanta School of Massage will prioritize students with exceptional need in awarding HEERF III Emergency Financial Aid Grant Funds to Students. For purposes of this policy, the college has determined that EFC is an appropriate metric for measuring a students’ need.
