- How did you first get your toes wet in the aesthetics field?

- I love all of it! It’s all very interesting and I love the variety it’s too hard to choose.
- Who is your favorite instructor and why?
- Carol Venclik, she is an amazing mentor and sets a great example of what it means to be a lifelong learner. She also genuinely cares for people and wants to see them succeed. Linda Anne Kahn loves to share information and help others grow and be successful.
- What is your favorite aspect of being an instructor?
- I love creating space for others to learn and grow. I love knowing that there are unlimited possibilities waiting for them in the industry.
- What was the best advice you ever received when you were in school?
- That I could do anything for a little bit, when I was feeling overwhelmed. If I was passionate about it I would be successful.
- What do you think is the most important thing for students going into the massage industry to remember today?
- Remember that it takes time to be successful, your clients are people who just want to be cared for, treat everyone with respect regardless.
- What makes you passionate about this field?
- I am passionate about this field because there is always something new to learn, it’s always growing and evolving. I also love caring for others.
- What is the most important thing for aestheticians to remember even after they are licensed and certified?
- You need to continue to learn, be willing to have a high standard even when others don’t, treat all your clients special.
- What is one common misconception about the field?
- It’s not just about makeup and creams, we make people feel better about themselves from the inside out.
- Is there anything else you want to share?
- Everyone has a story, and since we don’t always know the story be willing to be humble, don’t make assumptions, give people grace, always do your best.
